Historical Statistics of Taiwan

Observing the development processes of various countries, it is evident that institutions are a crucial determinant of a nation’s economic prosperity or decline. This includes political, legal, economic, educational, and healthcare systems, where any single factor can significantly impact a country’s economy. In light of this, the purposes of our association are established as follows: (1) To explore the importance of institutional reforms in the economic development of Taiwan. (2) To unite and attract more talent to engage in the research of institutions and economic history, and to share the research findings on Taiwan-related topics with the international academic community.
